Four young bank robbers find their getaway temporarily halted when their car breaks down in farm country. They hitch a ride and are taken to a farmhouse where a young woman and her blind father take them in, but the phone line is down, and the robbers must spend the night. As darkness falls, mysterious figures are glimpsed off in the distance, and it becomes apparent the criminals have picked the wrong place to spend the night. This ambitious independent, shot-on-video horror production was called “One of the Top Cult Films of All Time” by critic Roger Ebert.
