In the wake of WWI, a man haunted by the horrors of war murders his family. The only survivor is his eldest daughter, Rose. Rose is sent to live in a convent near the Eastern Seaboard, where she grows to adulthood. Plagued by strange nightmares and memories of events that haven’t happened, Rose comes to understand that the same demons that terrorized her father have followed her to the convent.
