(DESCRIPTION TRANSLATED FROM GERMAN)

Sergio Nutis Drug-related Drama from the late Seventies is a shattering but also prosaic contemporary document of the Drug Scene in Rome Predominately placed in the intellectual student scene Heroine dominates the daily routine melancholically-sad supported by the score of Maurizio Rota, Alan Sorrenti, Alberomotore, Canzoniere de Lazio

The film was shot with amateurs of whom most were connected to the Drug scene and because of this is totally authentic. The Film was shoot on original locations and is a fantastic historical document of the social circumstances of these times.

Sadly the movie had a tragic destiny. After a short time in a cinema in Rome  and screening on two festival in Italy and Switzerland the planned distribution Company went bankrupt before distribution and the film went in obscurity. Nonetheless Dont count on us is a great historical document of Rome in the late seventies and shows a unemotional, sad and disenchanted view of the Drug Scene in Rome
