In the late 70’s and 80’s, when disco music ruled the party scene, it collided with another popular means to escape, the Horror Film. Although usually depicted as obvious and desperate, it’s intentions to bring them together seems to have aged better than originally received on screen, at least for us horror fans who yearn for something more peculiar in our nostalgia.
Bloody Disco Balls is the 7th “Video Mixtape” release from Las Vegas based DJ, filmmaker and host of The Spacetoonz Cinemix Video Show Jimmie Gonzalez. The set list varies from popular four on the floor hits to composer’s inspired originals catching lighting in a bottle for a new generation. Horror films ranging from American commercial favorites to Euro-cult classics, Bloody Disco Balls is sure to keep your toes tapping while watching a glorious axe to the head in beautiful HD.
