On the night he was shot in the line of duty, Detective Saga loses everything, his job, his lung, his wife and his gun. But when his gun is identified as the murder weapon in a string of seemingly unrelated killings, even though he is no longer a policeman, Saga becomes obsessed with solving the crime.
Ryo Ishibashi (star of The Grudge, Gozu and Audition) gives a personal best performance as the strung out Saga trying to gain some little control back over his own life, as he realized what love can drive people to.
