| GINGER SNAPS - This 2000 Canadian werewolf horror comedy is a rare bird
indeed. While borrowing elements from other films, it stands far above
other teen horror films by virtue of its intelligence and the warm sympathy
it doles out to its misfit teen heroines. I feel this is one of the best
horror films in years (not that is has much North American competition) and
while it is a shame it never opened theatrically, it can at least be seen
on this letterboxed PAL Region 4 DVD. Features a trailer. A must.
