ZEDER (aka VOICES FROM BEYOND) - Pupi Avati's chilling early-'80s Italian
horror film relies not on graphic gore or violence to scare the viewer.
Instead, the masterful director of THE HOUSE WITH LAUGHING WINDOWS creates
a nearly palpable sense of dread in this tale of a man who discovers the 'K
Zones', areas in which the dead can be buried and ressurrected (a similar
plotline to Stephen King's novel 'Pet Semetary', which came along a few
years later in 1983). This Italian release features several different sound
and subtitle options so that one may watch the film in Italian with English subtites or in English.
