Winter of 1967 is coming to an end. Laura, a nine-year-old girl, is found drowned in a marsh near to a boarding school somewhere in the Pyrenees. A month later, Marco arrives in the city and makes his home in the attic of an isolated mountain house. Meanwhile, Julia, the director of the boarding school, witnesses strange events related to Monica, roommate of the murdered girl. It is a place that frightens the little girl but at the same time attracts her, because she is convinced that Laura is still there. It has been a month since one of the girls drowned... she appeared two days later in the marsh - people get bored and tell stories.
