The FEAR HOUSE of the title belongs to the writer Samantha Ballard, who lures some friends and relatives to a remote outpost, then informs them they will be killed if they try to escape. Carnage ensues as a couple of guests try to break out of Samantha's lair, leaving the remaining group with a quandary on their hands as they try to figure out an exit of their own.
