In their quest to attain eternal life Gar and Tra, the brother and sister of an ancient tribe perform cannibalistic rituals on the tribe’s children. When they’ve run out of victims, the queen mother punishes them for their selfishness. The sibs are condemned to 12,000 years of perpetual dying – but never death – and must feast on human flesh to survive!
Flash-forward to 1980s LA, where Gar and Tra’s only hope to recapture eternal youth is to sacrifice a virgin of their own flesh and blood…but time is running out! Their existence is discovered by an investigative reporter (Aldo Ray, The Naked and the Dead, The Green Berets) and a runaway child (Meeno Peluce, Voyagers!, The Amityville Horror), leading to an unexpected and terrifying confrontation. Don’t Go Near the Park features art direction by Robert A. Burns (The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, The Hills Have Eyes, Re-Animator).
