Amityville II: The Possession tells the story of the events leading up to the purchase of the Amityville house by the Lutz family, as played out in The Amityville Horror. The catholic Montelli family move into the Amityville house but are not there five minutes before things supernatural start happening. The eldest son Sonny (Jack Magner) is possessed by a voice that talks to him out of his walkman and drives him to seduce his sister Patricia (Diane Franklin), and then kill the entire family with a shotgun. After Sonny is arrested, Father Adamsky (James Olson) becomes convinced that Sonny is possessed and presses the Church and Police to allow him to perform an exorcism.
