Daisies features two uninhibited young women, both named Marie. The
two Maries develop outrageous pranks in this
outlandish comedy. Daisies' slapstick, destructive climax led to
its immediate banning by the government.
The film was shown only briefly after being held from release for
over a year.
Features extraordinary set design by the legendary
Ester Krumbachova, and brilliant color
cinematography and special effects by the great
cameraman Jaroslav Kucera.
