Still a child Carmela Rosa Simoni, is pushed by her father to get engaged to Enrico Della Scala and combined wedding is set. At the due moment Rosa, in love with Giuliano, rebels her father’s decisions and due to this she is forced to enter a cloister convent. Here thanks to the help of Sister Elisabetta, that has an outside lover and even makes love to some of the nuns, Carmela continues to meet Giuliano getting pregnant. Elisabetta jealous of Giuliano succeed to kill the guy. The church through an anonymous letter is informed that Carmela is pregnant!
