Flashman is one of the best examples of Italian pop cinema, taking place in swinging 60s London and exotic Beirut, and was directed in 1967 by Mino Loy (Sexy Girls Sexy Nights / Sexy World By Night). It was obviously inspired by BATMAN THE MOVIE (1966) and even preceded Mario Bava's classic DANGER: DIABOLIK (1968).
A band of gangsters with their leader Kid manages to get hold of an invisibility serum. At the same time, several banks are infiltrated by female counterfeiters. It's now up to the eccentric millionaire Lord Alexei Burman to save London from these crooks. Wearing his bulletproof outfit, he fights crime as the superhero Flashman, with a little help from his nosy little sister Ira - and to some extent even Inspector Baxter of Scotland Yard...
