Waves), a woman (Nicole Kidman) on the run from the mob is subjected to
humiliation in a small Colorado town, whose citizens are unaware of her true
identity and the price they themselves will have to pay for their cruelty.
Shot entirely in a studio, but with a focus on lighting, sound and music, Lars
once again proves that he is one of the true masters of cinema. Also starring
Philip Baker Hall, Udo Kier, Blair Brown, Ben Gazzara, John Hurt, Chloe Sevigny, Stellan Skarsgard, Patricia Clarkson and James Caan.
