Lola's a single mom, broke, working as a janitor and maid. Silvia is
pregnant, and her lover (who is also her boss) won't leave his wife. Maite,
a widow, discovers she's penniless but wants maintain appearances and give her
daughter a fancy wedding, and finally, Pecholata, a punk kid living in a youth
center, will soon be homeless. Lola decides that the only way to make ends meet
is to rob that bank that she cleans every morning. Soon she convinces her three
desperate friends to help with her seemingly flawless plan; they'll use
replica guns, dress as men, take Silvia hostage, and all will be smooth... well,
this is a comedy after all. Nothing goes as planned and one failed
situation quickly falls into another in this fun and popular caper comedy
from the writer of the great Spanish thriller X.
