The great Takashi Miike (Ichi the Killer) directs this Japanese version of
Robocop, but instead of playing it straight, Miike goes for parody as the
resurrected robot comes in the form of a Yakuza with a penchant for
swordplay. Featuring tons of wild swordplay (enough to make even Lone Wolf
blush!) and acked to the brim with delightful, funny, cruel, explicit and
inventive details Full Metal Yakuza is a trip well worth taking.
