Silmido
Dramatic action film from Korea in the vein of Shiri and JSA about a real
event in Korean history. After a group of North Korean soldiers try to
assassinate the South Korean president in the late 60`s, the SK government sets
up a secret training facility on the remote island of Silmido. Perhaps
taking a cue from the Dirty Dozen, the government assembles a ragtag team of
violent criminals and outcasts to train in this camp for the covert mission of
retaliating against the NK government.
