DENTI - The FantAsia film programme describes this festival hit as 'easily
one of the best Italian genre films since Michele Soavi's DELLAMORTE
DELLAMORE' and indeed many would agree. The films concerns a man obsessed
with his over-sized, rabbit-like teeth. Despite repeated attempts, he can't
manage to smash them out The opening sequence of the protagonist as a young
boy slamming his teeth into the ruins of the ancient ruins of Rome while
Deep Purple's 'Child of the Universe' blasts away. As an adult, he enters a
strange relationship and a demented world of seeing dentists to have the
teeth wrenched out. With the blackest of black humor and ample doses of
style, DENTI is a must-see contemporary cult classic.
