Directed by Italian genre director Antonio Margheriti, (a.k.a Anthony Dawson), Commando Leopard is set in a small Latin American country where corruption, brutality and exploitation are the order of the day. An elite commando task force, led by Carrasco (Lewis Collins), undertakes a desperate mission to overthrow the country's evil dictator, Silveira (Klaus Kinski), who in turn is prepared to take any means necessary to kill Carrasco and destroy the revolutionaries.
The plot may be basic but the action is anything but. A non-stop, action-packed adventure, Commando Leopard barely gives viewers a chance to grab their breath as it steamrolls from one incredible incendiary set-piece to the next. The film's numerous explosive sequences involve a dam, a bridge, a jetliner, a train and an oil refinery! The guns don't get louder or the explosions more spectacular than in Anthony M. Dawson's Commando Leopard.
